Italian yacht builder Benetti has completed and delivered the 56-meter superyacht they built as FB266. Not much was known or heard about this superyacht at the time of her launch but now she has been delivered and christened as "Genesis II".
The luxury yacht already had a short time cruising around the Mediterranean region before being shipped to Hong Kong atop a freighter. Looking at the design, this superyacht does bare similar characteristics to another recent Benetti superyacht, "Lady Candy".
Though there are several similarities with Lady Candy (they share similar designs), Genesis II has custom features that the Far-East owner has requested. For one, the main salon onboard Genesis II is a lot larger than on many other Benetti yachts, encompassing some 100 square meters. At first glance, the yacht does not appear to feature a generous offering of deck space., however there are four decks above the waterline so there is sure to a fair amount of outdoor space.
This displacement superyacht does not have the beach club in the transom as is the case on Lady Candy. Some may ask why because this was a stand-out feature onboard LC. An owner usually receives what they wants so her tenders take up residence in this space. As you can clearly see, the deck overhangs are not that long further emphasizing the push for maximizing interior space onboard this yacht. The upper deck and sun deck are pretty much identical to that of Lady Candy, showing the influence of Central Yacht on this build who took up position of Owner representative.
